Jesus Hates Skater kids!!

LA WEEKLY BLOG:  Jesus Hates Skater Kids: ‘Lincoln Ramp’ Half Pipe in Venice Torn Down by Fun-Killers at United Methodist Church  http://blogs.laweekly.com/informer/2011/05/lincoln_ramp_venice_torn_down_church.php

Andrew Reynolds filmed part of his Stay Gold Video here, the Termite kids skated with Shaun White a few weeks ago and so many skaters learned to skate here or practiced there.  BambooSK8 did a 1 day teaching event at the school there to inspire the skate kids about the importance of education.  We are sad to see that ramp go!!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=939FACJV2dE

Shame on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So many pastors feel their church is a hotel for saints and not a hospital for sinners.  They have it all wrong!!!!!!!!  I wish I had 10 minutes with that guy to see if he is beyond redemption or even has a soul…if he has any soul left…he may listen to an old youth pastor that is an advocate and knows the good that comes from skateboarding…ARGGGGGG!  If you have his email…I would love to have it.  Best of luck to Heidi and all her saints!

Bamboosk8 is a manufacturer of eco-friendly bamboo skateboards and is a division of BambooBuddy; a bamboo materials company but has the same owners. Our business model is positioned to completely revolutionize the skateboard industry and forever change the environmental landscape. We are working with top core deck brands, helping develop local shop programs and helping to save a few maple trees while we are at it. If you are ready to make a difference in the world, work hard without whining and get some killer real-world experience – then we are happy to meet with you. Please note that this position requires design work beyond action sports and into the commercial world with some of our Fortune 500 customers.

We are currently seeking: Graphic Design Interns (paid)
• Oceanside, CA working directly with the CEO and COO
• A minimum of 3 day per week (24 hours) in the office is expected but the internship requires a full 40 hours per week, 3 month internship

Past interns have gone on to work for Fox Moto-X, Sole Tech, BambooSK8, Dark Horse Distribution, HARO Bicycles, Rock Star Energy drink, etc. This position could lead to a full time job for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
• Create vividly colorful and vibrant content that connects the message of our brands.
