As summer comes to an end so does this moment…. it all began with excitement that never died… questions, determination, falls, and great accomplishments that assured learning was at hand at all times… But what made it what it was, were definitely the people I may now call great friends….all the moments in the cave… oh the many moments in the cave..lol…dana and her “what the French! toast?” and her awkward turtle……I swear stephen played “Little Lion Man” by mumford & sons just about a hundred times….. Brian or shall I say bee + rock= b-rock, always kept it entertaining and Ill miss playing sk8boarding and ping-pong… dan awkwardly sending skype messages when your sitting right next to him but he always had the best youtube videos….the Frenchman or aka Alex just kept his swagger in the office all day everyday…Nick and his crazy rockstar self….Mr. Uli, oh the moments, and I know he secretly wished he could have had, what he called, the “Sissy 29″ board…..Ms. Jess and all of our many moments especially how we always seemed to be hungry, all of our food runs for Mexican food and our beloved heart attack roll, oh and can’t forget our last supper at the BBQ place..mmmm….BambooSk8/BambooBuddy has taught me many things that I will definitely take with me in my future…..As the summer sun begins to set and paints the colors on the ocean blue the seasons shall change and bring something new……

This past week was amazing at the Maloof Cup representing and holding down the fort for BambooSk8! I made so many new friends and I hope all the new owners of BambooSk8 boards enjoy and reep the benefits of our decks. I luv all the kids that came and hung out with me at the booth and taught me how to do some tricks while showing off their skillz. And I definitely want to thank all the Kicker Guys for sharing their booth with us and keeping it entertaining, good times. Oh and we musn’t forget the moment when Jess and I got in trouble for sk8ing …lol ….Anyways here is my shout out I promised to all my new friends and the BambooSk8 fans….

Crazy week filled with crazy moments with the crazies…..that pretty much sums it up. This week was amazingly long but filled with nothing but good times, I feel like I had some quality bonding moments with the BambooSk8 family. From the crazy awesomeness of our Launch Party to the acoustic performance of the rockstar Whit and the fairwell to Pope…it was a party filled week. Some things that I learned this week ……
1. If you are going to put a poster on a moving bus, make sure the tape is ready (ps. I am not advising that you do this)
2. When you have a microphone in your hand, have no expectations but be ready for anything
3. Fake mustaches are definitely a conversation starter
4. Mark has a secret alias , “Spiderman”, and Andrew is K.B. (Koala Bear…lol)
5. Stephen and Brian love Islands endless fries and onion rings, and they are cut off from having more than one serving of rockstar gum or monster
6. Watching the sunrise at denny’s always means you have an intersting story behind it
7. Playing hacky sack with a lighter in a room with a low hanging ceiling fan can get dangerous
8. finish every sentence with “murh murh….”

So yeah, I probably could go on but lets keep it interesting. Oh and the cherry to my sunday this week was I put together my first sk8 board ever and I am so excited!!!! Whos gunna teach me some tricks?

in the crazy whirlwind of confetti, bright lights, good food, great company, and awesome vibes …you can never forget the Pinata! the pinata is the epic highlight of the party, with out it you just dont have a fiesta. These last few days have been fun filled with old and new friends everything from a relaxing day on the beach on the 4th of july in huntington to the random nights at candles with my friends and having an awesome time at the Amped for a Cure event for Avery Watts with Jess and Geoff. Oh I definitely came to the conclusion that water sandles are not rockstar material….lol…

With the sun steppin out and the golden tans shining its evident that summer is here as well as a whole load of events of summer fun. Excited for the BBQ that’s goin on this weekend, the guys built an awesome quarter pipe it definitely forecasts for some awesome times with our team riders. All the work that everyone has been putting in for the launch party of the Octobomb shows very promising, and you should all come out, support and see what BambooSk8 has brought to the table.  Monday, Go Skate Day!  We will be representing and hitting up spots all over So. Cal, look for us and say whats up. Each week here goes by faster than the last, but learning something new happens everyday, and the craziness gets crazier and that’s what keeps it interesting and fun filled with new ideas. Stay tanned.

…You never know what the dice of life will roll your way….In week 4 at BambooSk8 and everything has been unbelievably awesome.  Yes there have been many moments and feelings of how do I approach this? or Where do I start?  But the key is diving right in. Things are really starting to move, learning from mistakes and from accomplishments keeps me on my toes. I have come to amaze myself in all that I am taking on. With the greatest mentors lighting our path we are sure to show more results, spreading the news that BambooSk8 is standing firm and making its presence known.

el dia numero uno…..with a dreary sky outside….nothing but excitement, anxiety (the good kind), and good times with new friends in doors at Bamboo Sk8. Who knows what this intern class Lucky #7 can bring to the table. Fresh ocean air from the beach side sounds like I may be in for the greatest most adventurous summer yet. All this in just the first day, but i mustn’t forget to introduce myself …my name is Jen i was born and raised in Clovis, Ca graduated from Clovis High School , graduated from UC Riverside with my bachelors in Sociology. Growing up with an adventurous family and near Yosemite Ive come to love the outdoor lifestyle. Anything and everything from biking, skateboarding,snorkeling,skiing, hiking, wake boarding, surfing, water-skiing, and snow boarding you name it, Ive tried it or I will try it. (p.s. I’m not saying I’m awesome at all of these things but I have done it …lol). Anyways…..I can’t wait to see what awesomeness we create and I’m telling you  I see great things coming from Lucky #7….now to take a break and ride a board with the #7 krew…….
