About ShawnM

Hi my name is Shawn Wood and I’m interning at Bamboosk8. I recently graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Business. When I was living in Northern California I worked at Ground Zero Board Shop. It was lots of fun and I learned the ins and outs of this crazy industry. Ground Zero opened some doors for me as being a sub rep for Electric Visual, and Sanuk. Lots of fun and challenging at times, and went from selling items to customers to placing reorders with owners. I moved back to Southern California to be closer to the hub of things. I’m now interning at Bamboosk8 and love that I’m working for a company that cares about the environment. I worked at a skate shop for over two years and had no idea that skate boards made from maple are cut from 60 year old trees. Not down with that and now that I know that I really support the fact that Bamboo is the way to go. It grows super fast and you can Ollie 3” higher. Stay green, but not like the Hulk. Shawn
